It works great! First time using there's an extra step required
When I first got it, I was very confused to why it wouldn't work. I'd put it in my NES with a Famicom game on it, and it'd give me the blinking light even though on the TV the game would show up fine while it was resetting. I had to look at the listing (since it didn't come with any instructions) and it said that it uses a special lockout chip that needs to configure itself to the region of the NES by resetting the system 5 to 10 times, so I tried it and it worked! Once you do it, you never have to do it again.
The strap on it is a bit thin for my peace of mind. It feels like it could rip if you tug it a little hard, so I covered it with some electrical tape and it's a lot better

I was able to fix mine, but not everyone is a techy person
I wasn't expecting mine to work when I first got them. I bought two: one for my Game Boy Pocket, Color, Advance, etc. and another one to modify it to fit in my DMG. when they both arrived, they both worked when I first tested them on my Game Boy Color, but they both felt limp at the connector and one would cut out if it went too far. I added hot glue to the working one to stabilize it, and the other I removed the port and added one from a link cable I had for my DMG. Now they both work, and I'm satisfied with them, but if you don't know soldering or things like I do, you might not be as pleased if yours have issues like mine did.
It occurs to me that the reason why they felt limp is because you have to rotate the connector 180 degrees if you want to use this on a Game Boy Advance, since the link port on it faces the opposite direction. So the limp-ness I mentioned may or may not be intentional
