Great Play but sounds patches should be better.
0 of 1 found this helpful The tracking is spot on with no latency; works on all types of playing and technique. What I don’t care for is the many of the sounds themselves. There are some inspiring sounds but many are too harsh and redundant. I find the variety and quality of Yonac’s Roxsyn on my iPad to have much better patches for 1/10th of the price tag. Boss/Roland is missing the mark here by not stocking this synth pedal with superior and diverse sounds. They could easily replace half of the current sounds with something better. I do enjoy this pedal for it’s plug in and play directness but the price is a bit steep for the current limitations and questionable sound quality of many of the patches. Why couple such advanced tracking technology with old, primitive sounds?
