Lide 400 (2018 model) is a huge improvement over the Lide 700 (2009 model)

Great resolution and great improvement over the Canon Lide 700. On the Lide 700 which came out in 2009 I believe, the documents had to clearly and cleanly (that is to remain flat) on the scanner for the image to come out 100%, This is not the case with the Lide 400 which came out in 2018. Images or documents or books can be 1-2 mm off of the glass and the image is still perfect. Enjoy the scanner. J
