Opteka TS-1 TacShot Pistol Grip Ball Head with Quick Release Plate for Tripods &

Works very well.

I used this to mount some 20 X 70 Binoculars that weighed 3.3 pounds to use for astronomy. This pistol grip had no problems with this and I even tried a friends set of binoculars that weighed 3.8 pounds and still it was rock solid. It's load capacity is 6.6 pounds, which I believe it will be able to handle.
