Too expensive for the audio quality
2 of 2 found this helpful I bought this pair of speakers probably with a higher expectations based on their price. The reason for me to express this is a currently own a very same size speakers installed on my kitchen and on my family room, after receiving this bose speakers I pulled out one unit out out of each area to compare and try to justify this new expensive pair... Too bad bad... Maybe a 10% difference on sound quality difference in between ones installed on family room (Infinity brand) and the kitchen ( "X" brand bought at home depot 10 years ago) I have to admit the installation and magnetic grill is very clever and love the fact is not very visible compared to my others pairs, but this does not mean is worth to paid 8 times morr than what I paid for my others one. This speakers where tested with a denon receiver and I tried multiple types of music to be able to compare vocals, instruments and volume levels on them.
