A must have book about The Beatles
There are hundreds of books written about The Beatles, but there are only two really essentials:
1. Mark Lewisohn's Beatles Chronicles (you may choose between: "Complete Beatles Chronicle : The Only Definitive Guide to the Beatles' Entire Career" (for a very detailed info) or "The Complete Beatles Chronicle" (for a shorter detailed info), and
2. MacDonald's "Revolution in the Head".
The 1st one is a day by day chronicle about The Beatles did, the 2nd one an exhaustive analysis of what they meant with detailed comments about each Beatles song by a classical music critic. You may disregard any of his opinions or that any song was not covered enough, but it's a very rich analysis you'll enjoy instead of being reading anecdotal histories as most of the books about then does.

Tablet vs. eBook Reader: I bought the Tablet...
I got this tablet as refurbished and I received in mint condition. Scratches are so light that it looks new. I only pay $ 35.00 for it with free shipping. THE VALUE FOR THE MONEY IS FANTASTIC AND EXCEEDS MY EXPECTATIONS. You get what you paid for, so I must give to this equipment 5 STARS. I'm not the kind of person that complaint because an equipment doesn't do what I want, unless the manufacturer states in the user guide or in another place it does what I want and that is false.
I use to have books "in the cloud" and in my smartphone so wherever I go, if I have to wait I don't get bored, but my smartphone screen is not enough big for me to use it as an eBook Reader. That's the reason why I purchased this tablet to be used as an eBook Reader: because a tablet is more versatile than an eBook Reader. In a tablet you can choose from a couple of softwares which Reader you want to install according to your needs and personal preferences. There are eBooks Readers that are unable "to read" any eBook format (it varies from one brand to another one), but with a tablet you are able to install a software to read eBooks in any format. AS AN EBOOK READER THIS TABLET EXCEEDS MY NEEDS. I got here at a great price a 32Gb MicroSD Card so I have plenty of room for my needs.
This tablet is a little bit slow and when it becomes slow you don't know what is happening: it doesn't bring you info about the process is performing at that time. I installed, as recommended by the manufacturer an application killer. I installed the Advanced Task Killer Free, so I'm in control of the applications loaded into memory. It really helps. From time to time you need to take a look at that if you see your tablet become slow.
I don't remember if manufacturer advices that the battery should be calibrated. It was not calibrated, so at the beginning it was really confusing how much charged the battery was. I installed from Play Google the application Battery Calibration Pro and fixed the problem. It was very easy to calibrate the battery. It also happens with Windows and Linux based laptops when installing a new battery.
For reading my books, I installed APV PDF Viewer Pro (I paid for the Pro version in order to see the Table of Contents when present). I also installed EBookDroid to read PDF DjVu, XPS, Comic Books (cbz, cbr) and Fiction Book (fb2, fb2.zip). I also installed other applications as Wikipedia, WPS Office, VLC media player for android and Firefox, cause even I'm a Google fan, Chrome has serious security issues and I don't like the default android web browser, but from all of these applications, I usually only run Wikipedia sometimes. When I'm not at home I never access free wireless internet connections cause they are not secure and I'm a little bit paranoid.
So, I'm very satisfied with this product cause it fits my needs and my goals when I decided buy it. I recommend this product, but for using it in the way I use it.
