Overall, seller shipped on time was communicative. Packaging was good. However his grading scale might be a little lenient. Record is in nice condition, but not in excellent or vg++++ condition. Although nothing major. I’m happy with purchase.

Best Early Shooter!
This game one hell of a reason for me to stay indoors in the spring growing up. This can be a gamer nirvana or absolute nightmare that you actually wouldn't mind revisiting over and over. Some Nintendo games are known for there challenge and some are known for bad programming. Luckily the challenge you will find with this game is far from bad programming. If you fail several times, its user error. Once you get the hang of the patterns this game can be one very smooth side scrolling shooter. The musical score is superb in comparison to most Nintendo Games. Right of the bat, if you die in the first level you get an alternate character to play as for the rest of the game. I liked that aspect, with that being said it is worth it to not die in the first level. You will get a far better character and the game will be sweet. 50 years from now ill probably be playing this game in the nursing home with my HD800s on not to wake up my roommates. Check out my Nostalgic Video Game Store for more classics like this.

The Gaming Expereince
I played this game in High school, what caught my attention the most was the main character. Voice acting was done by David Duchovny from "The X-Files." This gave the game more of an X-files series, Call of Duty and Resident Evil experience rolled into one game which made me want to play. To All fans of X-Files, this is a really nice First Person Shooter set in a dark morbid scheme as you fight your way through secret government sectors to find the truth of what is happening to your character. If Call of Duty had a a player dad who married Resident Evil psycho wife, this would be the offspring. Some of the levels can be very challenging. Luckily this game has a check point save system, Trust me you will need it! Overall it was a very challenging and enjoyable experience. Astyanax NES Nintendo Complete CIB Ships in Box

The Gaming Experience
I played this game growing up, I was first introduced to Astyanax at my daycare. Yes, I started my gaming life early. After playing this game with someone 4 years older and constantly embarrassed with the level of difficulty, I decided to beg my parents to buy me this game. To my speck of luck here and there, I found out this game was part of my fathers collection. I had to borrow it to play, I never seen soo many sprites on the screen at once. The gameplay can get a little convoluted when you are swinging your axe away at foes, the more enemies you kill the more memory is released for progression. This can me a minor irritation but not as bad as having invisible lines going through your head if enemies get too close found in other games. Frankly Astyanax for Nintendo is ahead of its time. The developers did a fine job with detail on the enemies and background which may have set the stage influencing later games of this genre. To this day I have not beaten the game, I'll admit it was a bit too much for me. Hey give it a shot you don't know if you can until you try. Before you pull your eyes out, take a breather and come back to it. Check out "Astyanax" for Nintendo and other classic titles all in excellent condition at my Ebay store.
