Great deal, Amazing pictures, Durable!
I have had this camera for at least 2 years now, bought it new for $300. It was a great deal. It is a very durable camera. The flip out screen is small(2.5in), but it works great and is convenient when taking self portraits or holding it above eye level. The 4 AA batteries it holds makes it a pretty heavy camera, but it lasts a long time on those batteries, about 500 pictures and plenty of reviewing photos. :) The 4 batteries also make up the handle of the camera, which is a great feature, it is very easy to hold and control! That is one reason I wouldn't get a smaller portable one, the battery life and the handle. It will fit in most pants pockets without a case. The lens is a good size and the photos are very clear, it makes a huge difference in sharpness, you can see a big difference between this and one of the smaller cameras like a digital elf. It has quite a few advanced options, which are great for night time shooting(up to 15sec aperture open time) and the close-up(flower icon) mode is great. I love this camera, it was a great deal and is amazing! It's still taking top notch photos for me, even though the lens cover is all gone and the zoom lens is loud... It has taken approx. 18k photos. I hope this helped you out in deciding on purchasing a camera! :) Canon makes good stuff!

The G51 Speakers are a huge improvement from X540/X530s
These speakers are a HUGE upgrade from the X540 speaker set, in quality of sound and especially volume. These can fill up your room and start to shake the walls with the bass up and a sound card with lots of settings... ;) They are great in games, you can hook them up to your TV, Classical music, the surround sound is pretty impressive. The speakers area well balanced and the bass is not overpowering when on medium, but it is there and very noticeable when turned up! There is a good sound in highs to lows, the X540s would crack up in the high vocals very easily, you really have to turn them down to keep them clear, this one has a ton of capacity compared to them. As with other Logitech 5.1 systems, the cables are relatively short for surround sound, you may consider getting some extenders to put the speakers around your room. This set costs about $140 when I got it, and is a great deal on a powerful surround sound set, I think it was a deal! If you have the X-540 or 530s, this is a great upgrade, and will not break the bank.

Great entry level speakers!
These speakers are a really good price for 5.1 surround sound audio for the PC. I really like their cosmetics, they are nice and compact and the metal grill on the speakers is very nice. The volume control knob is plain, but it does its job! :) The bass is enough, it is dedicated and you CAN hear it and turn it up a little, but it doesn't get very loud. The con about this set is the volume it can output, it really can't get very loud, and if you turn it up too much of course it distorts... As with any PC speaker set I would recommend getting a good quality sound card, it improves the volume capacity and clarity much more than you would expect. For a top notch entry level sound card I use the Asus Xonar DX. I tested the speakers with the onboard audio then my sound card, the difference is night and day! If you really want a little bit of power and more bass volume and depth, you should look at going with the Logitech G51 surround sound system, if you can spend double the money. The X540s on average cost $70, and the G51 set around $140. It is a great set for starting out in surround sound, sounds great if not turned up too high, and is a good looking set! I would definitely recommend it for the price! As with all of the Logitech 5.1 systems, the cables are relatively short for surround sound, you may consider getting some extenders to put the speakers around your room.
