Old Tech, but still gets the job done
1 of 1 found this helpful Had an old Intel Core 2 Q6600 and 6gb of DDR2 Ram in spare parts bin and wanted to put them to use. Decided to build an HTPC if I could find a suitable motherboard. Spotted this one and decided to give it a try. Overall it works for what I wanted. Plenty of Ram capacity, good feature set. What more can I ask for from 10+ year old computer technology and $25.
Only issue I encountered was a dead CMOS battery out of the box. That gave me a bit of trouble until I realized what the culprit was.
If like myself, you have compatible components in search of a motherboard, I'd say that it is a good value. If you are buying all of the components to build a system, there are newer, better, and faster options for close to the same money.
