Good but could be great…
Good for largemouth and will keep on my rotation in my tackle box. However, like many other anglers, my opinion of the foam body and leg attachment is that they could be more durable. In other words the bait is good, but it could be great with higher quality construction and a permanent hook. Doing this would improve the reputation of the manufacturer and thus increase sales via loyalty from anglers. It could be a “go to” bait instead of a lower tier choice. Quality results in loyalty.

Pretty darn good right out of the box
I received an odd injury resulting in not being able to use a baitcaster any longer. I was skeptical of the performance of the Zebco Bullet as I had many 202’s, 404’s and 33’s when I was young to fish mainly panfish. Trusty, but very simply made of cheap plastic as many of you already know. Long story short, the Bullet is not any of these. It is mostly metal inside and out, but light to the hand. It casts a mile using 10-12 lb. mono or floro. Retrieves about as fast as some of my rather modern baitcasters and solid enough to handle some really big girls. It is as advertised. While improvements are always needed, the Bullet is a solid performer out of the box as a replacement for, or in addition to, many baitcaster reels.
