Definitely looks used with lot of wear
Does not look refurbished. The unit looks used from the wear. Came with no instructions and was difficult to setup. Finally setup with lots of googling and was able to integrate with Smartthings hub. The unit is working fine. Not sure about the night vision life as it seems used. Update: The 16GB MicroSD card that came with it was corrupted. I tried to save it by reformatting but it was DOA. Upon contacting they sent me 32GB card which is working fine.

Wifi option does not work. Setup is complicated.
Beware the camera does not come with a power cord. It does not take standard micro/mini USB cable, so be prepared to purchase the specific power cable for this camera, and be able to test it within 14 day return period. I purchased two of these and was not successful in connecting both of them using wireless option. I was able to connect both with ethernet connection. I have a samsung SNH-V6414BN installed in Garage that streams perfectly using wifi, but these units are not able to stream even from close range when choosing wifi option. If you are hoping to connect this camera using wifi, you will be wasting money. I do not recommend this product.

Beware, the product was never sent. They sent a package filled with foam. Waited 4 weeks only to get disappointed.
