Good product, install can be tricky
Once I was able to update the software, the thermostat has performed to its description / specifications. Does a great job of keeping a constant temperature across the house. The thermostat would not connect to the app when I received it. After a lot of troubleshooting, I figured out that I needed to update the software from the internet via the thermostat without the app. The unit as shipped was 3 revisions back on current software. With the current software, the unit easily connected to the app.

Good outdoor option
Integrated well with the Ring App - was easy to install where a outdoor flood light was previously installed. The unit has lots of customizable options which are helpful.
