There are very few titles that capture the N64's appeal better than this.
This very well could be the zenith of platform gaming. Typically, I'm not one for fetch-quests; however, there is something entirely too endearing about this title. As I'm writing this, we are well over a decade past the release of Banjo-Kazooie, Rareware's debut platformer on the N64. I would gladly pay again to play something that, in my humble opinion, has aged fantastically. It far trumps Rare's later efforts (Donkey Kong 64/Jet Force Gemini), and endures into the 21st century with grace and style.
