Extreme Duty Flashlights Popular with Fire and Rescue Operations
Pelican flashlights are the toughest flashlights available. The tough ABS housing holds up great against abuse without showing the signs. Aluminum flashlights are very dangerous around live electrical panels. Consider this fact when choosing your duty light. The twist-on activation is elegant and simple, and maintains submersible seal although this can't be performed single handed. Rubber covered pushbuttons are a weak point. The built in clips are very serviceable. The price point for heavy duty flashlight on eBay is a plus.
