Camoplast All-Terrain skis
1 of 1 found this helpful I don't know if these are really Camoplast brand or Camso because I can't find them on the Camso website and they are also marketed under brand names Raider, and Exo-S and other names. Nothing on the skis or box or papers says "Camoplast" besides the description. I think they're probably bulk manufactured somewhere else and sold as a few brand names. But they float good in deep snow. The carbides that come with it are fine but halfway recessed into the ski, so the wide plastic bottoms are low to the ground and rub on tar and hard surfaces easy. And they wear easy if they rub on a street for a second or two it will leave a flat spot. I bought dual carbides for them which protects the bottom of the skis better and holds them a little higher off the ground, something to consider. Pretty stiff too which doesn't bother me. Like others said they are hollow feeling and feel like a 1 gallon milk carton material, slightly rough, not like slippery hifax or the stock plastic skis, so they drag in the snow just a little. But this could also be because they are wider than my stock ones. The price is right and they keep the front end up in deep snow and thats what I got them for. Consider a dual carbide for more ski height, bottom protection, and less wear over hard surfaces.
