Good game. Worth the price. Fun for all skill levels.
This game is good for gamers of all skill levels. There are many different games that your character plays in. These games usually contain four players, two good, and two evil. You do things like have tank wars, paint squares with pogo sticks, push people off of ice sheets, etc. All of these games are pretty simple and are played on one screen (one location. The screen does not move around a map or anything.). They are fun little games, and you can either play a one player adventure or battle mode, or play two player battles. The music is great. It is simple, fun-loving music which fits in perfectly with the games that you are playing. The characters are kind of cartoony, with stressed features. The star of the show is Crash Bandicoot. Overall, this is a great, simple game of good versus evil in a variety of settings, and I would recommend this game to many gamers, especially younger ones.

Excellent! Good for the beginner or experience forager!
I LOVE this book. I have this book and it took me all of the way from knowing absolutely nothing to being able to identify plants quickly, and tell the edible parts, preparing the plants for eating, etc. This book is incredibly well organized for plants with flowers, but is harder to identify plants with leaves and fruit only. The text is easy to read and simple, but provides vivid detail about specific plant identification points. For almost every plant, there is a description, an accompanying line drawing (shows all of the plant parts to make identification easy)and there are about 13 pages in the center of the book with full color photographs of select plants, illustrating general plant groups. At the back of the book, there are organizations of plants by food use, habitat, and time of year harvesting, etc. There is slight weakness in some of the food preparation descriptions, but I've pretty well understood everything. Also, there is little focus on grasses and leafy plants, but there is only so much you can cover in a book of this size. Overall, this is a book I would recommend to anyone who wants to eat wild plants, but doesn't want to be a geek (studying encyclopedias and plant books). With this book, you can spend most of the time in the field identifying plants, although a little time just reading and studying the book helps. With this book alone, you will find that you will be walking or driving down the road and suddenly realize that you can identify the plants you are passing by the side of the road. That is a great feeling!!! This is in my opinion the best book you can get for the price!!

Good book, could use some work.
I own this book and it is great if you are studying herbal, medicinal plants, but it is not very good for a field guide. The organization is a little weak, and there are pictures for most plants, but pictures are really not the way to go. You just kind of flip through the book and look for a plant that you recognize and read about it. It does have good descriptions for the uses of plants, both past, present and future, but it is riddled with doubt. (This is probably because they aren't allowed to say that a plant cures any disease.) Overall, this book isn't very good as a field guide, but is good for study. It is fun looking up health conditions in the back of the book and seeing which plants are good for the condition. For the price, this is a good book to have in your collection of Peterson field guides.
