Union Pacific's Big Boys: The Complete Story from History to - VERY GOOD

Good Coffee Table Book
This is a good book on the Big Boy, but 20% of the book is not specifically about the big boy and discusses other large steam engines of the 1930-40 era. The photos are fantastic, including lots of great up close and color photos. The editing is poor at best with paragraphs and even sentences broken mid-thought due to poor print layout of the text. Due to the large number of full page photos the mid-sentence break might not pick back up for several pages. I would give this book 5 stars if the technical “filler” of chapters 4-6 had been big boy specific and someone had at least tried to do arrange the print in some semblance of a professional layout.

Very Good Detail
Although this item may be a little pricey, it is a fantastic kit to detail out US WW2 vehicles and armor.
