A great card for gaming, design and general Desktop computing
1 of 1 found this helpful Even in 2017 this card performs exceptionally well. The 4 GB of VRAM definitely make a huge difference over 2 GB of similar cards, and it allows to play current games on an older Core2Quad even at 1080p resolutions on medium to high settings.
Games I have personally played without any performance problems and without sacrificing much fidelity at all include: GTA V, Far Cry Primal, No Man's Sky, Assassin's Creed Black Flag/Rogue, ECHO, EVERSPACE, Nier:Automata, Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice. There are more, but these are particularly performance demanding games.
If you are looking for a budget solution for a mid-range rig that still packs a punch, look no further.
I run this with Windows 7 64-bit, 8 GB RAM and the nVidia drivers 350.12 (other versions cause stuttering in GTA V, so I kept them, they work fine). Thoroughly recommend this card.
