1 of 1 found this helpful These are junk. The actual lure retriever (cork screw piece) is held in place with a plastic piece that is screwed into the end of the pole.
The end of the pole is such thin metal that when the cork screw retriever gets on any snag it breaks the plastic piece or tears the small screw through the end of the thin metal pole.
Bought mine through their site but Th marine censors their reviews.
Shady business practices and shame on them.

Incredible reel
These Bantam MGL's are amazing, so smooth and powerful. Do not worry about them being a little heavier (1oz) than other Shimano reels. They balance very well with all my worm/carolina rig rods. Hook sets and landing fish are seamless.
