Simply a Classic
If you are an ELO fan, this is a must. This is the album (CD) that launched them into a supergroup. Play it over and over.....it becomes one long song. I could do without the "Bonus" crap, but that easily taken care of on a computer....

Low Budget is still First Class, Maybe even BEST Kinks
This is in my opinion the best Kinks. Clean, tight and shows their true musicianship. Listen to the harmonies, the guitar licks, the piano. Vocals are tight, lyrics quick and the entire CD/Albums is just simply fun to listen to. Throw this in with Dave Edmunds (Repeat When Necessary) and maybe Nick Lowe (Labour of Lust) and you have some of the very best music of this era. On a side note: Listen to the lyrics of the political times and state of the world in this CD. It could be re-released today and the new generation would never know it was 30 years old.

Suprtramp is not for everybody, but this is there BEST.
Not all will love Supertramp. But if you do, this was by far their best Album. This album was the launch pad that made them somewhat of a supergroup in this era. There was a lot of transition in the group, musically and philosophically after this album. My take on it was the classic "To Big For Their Britches" syndrome. They had some great music after this, but it changed. It was different. In fact, their older music is better than the music released after this album But, this album is just the Shitt. It's a GREAT CD. if you sort of like Supertramp you'll love this. If you check out their "Best Of" CD you'll see a lot of these songs on it. But in fact, this IS the best of CD. It's simply their best music.
