Reproduction, But Still Cool
I assumed this would be a reproduction due to the low price, though I could not find a place in the listing that said so. So, it is not vintage in the sense of being old. It is a good print, came promptly, and was a good value for the price.

Wretched
This is not even worth twenty bucks. It failed within two minutes of operation. It also whipped back and forth during the brief time it did work at a rate that would wreck hatching eggs. It arrived on time, bundled in a black plastic mailer with no padding whatsoever and no directions for assembly. The turner motor is included, but not attached. It may be possible to install a decent turner motor and make this work for storing eggs prior to setting, but would not fit into the most common tabletop incubators.

Not Good for Chicken Egg Incubation
1 of 1 found this helpful This device sounded promising, but it only allows settings by whole degrees of temperature, so 99.5 cannot be done. If you don't mind that, it seemed to hold a temperature and humidity level pretty well, but I like to set at 99.5 and then 98.5 at lockdown, so it is not good for me. In addition, it is very hard to set up as the instructions are written very poorly. My husband is an electrician, and used to reading complex diagrams, and even he was frustrated with trying to get it set up. I am keeping it as a back-up, mostly because I think it would be a bother to return. It will be good for someone using it for a less delicate purpose.
