A great album
Plenty of good tunes, no vocals and a dream team of musicians, e.g. Omar Hakim, Marcus Miller & Ricky Peterson, and technicians (produced by Tommy LiPuma, engineered by Al Schmitt, mixed by Bill Schnee and mastered by Doug Sax). One of Joe's very best.

A good place to start
Amazing (5*) is perhaps overrating this collection, whilst Better than expected (4*) is underrating it, as I knew it was going to be good, just not Amazing.
Anyway, this is a 2 disc Best Of his entire career up to 2013 with hardly any vocal tracks and, if you like Mr White but aren't bothered about acquiring lots of his individual albums, this should fit the bill nicely. I was very pleased to get it for very little money and, as a bonus, it's in As New condition.

A fairly good read
I bought this as a counterpoint by Roger Daltrey's autobiography and, whilst not quite as easy to follow as that, it does give a fascinating insight into Pete's life and times with and outwith The Who.
