Best Decorating Book on the Market
I love Miles Redd and his book is like a dream. You can see the items in the photos so much clearer and get a better feel for the rooms than you get online on a computer screen. I highly recommend his book if you want to understand his aesthetic better.

BEST in the World.
These pots and pans are rebranded Demeyere made in Belgium and among the best cookware in the world. The only way you can go one better is to go with copper with a stainless liner (prepare to get a mortgage on the farm) or copper with a tin liner and keep up with the maintenance. I own both the Demeyere Atlantis Proline7 ply, the Industry 5 and the rebranded Demeyere listed here as Kitchen Aid. They all perform very well but my favorite is the Kitchen-Aid 7ply. The Kitchen Aid handle and helper handles give you a bit more room to clean under them and I think I just feel smarter using these since they are such a great value. I read that the KA 7 ply is a bit thinner than the Atlantis but I assure you that small difference does not yield an inferior performance. I really believe that KitchenAid improved the Atlantis for the rebranding. These are simply the best in the world, far superior to ALL Clad. Check out the real experts at Chowhound. The consensus there is that Demeyere is superior to anything except lined copper. Get this set and a couple of of enameled iron dutch ovens (Le Creuset or Staub) and an iron skillet and your kitchen is complete.

Best Bang for Buck
This is a very beautiful chinoiserie lantern that looks much more expensive than it is. The scale is perfect for what is the current fashion. At first I thought I would have it painted but I like the rustic black against my rather feminine bedroom.
