Very poor quality
1 of 1 found this helpful I love the idea of these. I used to use cages years ago. They do work well. However this particular brand is of poor quality. The mesh is very fine and not strong enough. The cage doesn't fit snugly on the base plate. Mice can squeeze out again. The cage has nothing around the bottom so exposed ends of wire are moving around the bottom. To get it to work I cut lengths of dripper hose with slits along the top to give the cage firmer, stronger feet. This way when you pull the wire handles over the top, the cage is firmly in place. Without the hose the cage is far to loose and not sturdy enough.
