hit or miss.
It's hit or miss with these controllers. Some work perfect, others have some button issues. I had to open a second one up, and add some antistatic padding to increase stiffness behind a few buttons. The response rate improved to useable. I have another one that seems to be perfect!.

Great if you are going to mod/restore.
1 of 1 found this helpful It has been used heavily, and not cared for by a collector. Despite that, the functionality of the GBA is surprisingly responsive. The screen operates as intended and there is not a large build up of corrosion on the battery connections. For what i intend to do with the unit, it is better than i was hoping for. I will be replacing the shell with one for a backlight screen, and all buttons + pads. A thorough cleaning of internals and it will be like new. Like finding a car with cosmetic damages only, the core is perfect. This one even provided a game to prove functionality!

exact replacement for HP proprietary mother board.
The board works perfectly. And no bios/boot passwords to hinder operation. Just use CPU + heat sink and ram from original bad board, and it returned to life.
