I’ve always loved the quality of Billings. I know from experience that you will get a quality product, that it will be hours of fun for the model builder. This boat is on the smaller size but it makes up for it in lots of detail and possibilities of personal choice. I lined the cabin with leftover planks and strips from the building of the hull, as well as planking the deck. There is plenty of material to really customize the appearance, and I find that Billings is always generous with packing extra material. The laser cut pieces come apart quite easily and sand smooth quickly. If you are new to building model ships as I am, relatively, this would be an excellent choice to start on. It’s a bit more complex due to building the hull as opposed to a plastic molded hull, but enjoy this process and so it was a welcome challenge
