Parking Brake Cable-PG Plus Professional Grade Rear Left fits 88-91 Prelude

Cheap Knockoff

This is definitely not a professional grade cable. The brackets are over-sized and slide around on the cable unlike the oem ones which are crimped on. Also the mounting "holes" in the brackets are too big and they have giant slots instead of holes. I do not believe this is a genuine Raybestos product as I have also purchased the passenger side which is also made by Raybestos and it looks exactly like the oem one. This one on the other hand looks like it has been re-branded. Very disappointed with the quality as I am doing a full restoration and need oem style and quality. I have provided a picture of the cable in question and also of the passenger side which is oem style. Both of them were branded as Raybestos but there is a clear difference in the quality between the driver and passenger side.

Poor quality control

I finally got around to installing the 6205 bearing I received a while back only to find it is defective. The electric motor it was installed in was vibrating like crazy so I bough another one locally and the issued went away. I wish I had known Princess Auto carries this size bearing. What's irritating is that I spent 4x the price to get an ABEC 5 bearing when normally I just buy cheap generic ones. Lesson learned. Also, the bearing was installed properly using a shop press and a sleeve that only pressed on the inner race so this was not a user error.
