  This ring is a stunner once polished up. I bought it because my mother had this same setting in gold when she was a little girl. Her grandmother gave it to her for her confirmation.. Thank you! Oh, and perhaps shipping jewelry in hard plastic, like a pill bottle, or wrapped in bubble wrap and taped tight would be a good idea. The package had damage and the setting tore the thank-you note. The ring is fine! I'd just hate the seller to lose a sale for something preventable.
