"EXCELLENT BATTERY FREE OPERATION"
This is the exact "Night Vision Monocular" that I was looking for. I needed a unit for my "bug out bag", for those emergency situations where batteries may not be available.
This monocular is perfect for the survival "Bug Out Bag" because it does not require batteries to work, just pull down on the lever and the lever generates enough power to operate the night vision scope for about 20 seconds "without batteries". However the IR does require a cr123 battery, but the IR is not necessary for most night viewing conditions anyway, it's only really required for starless, no moon, "pitch black" conditions.
Keep in mind that this unit is only 2x35mm and its not going to have the magnification of some of the more expensive units that require batteries (and you cannot hook it up to your TV or VCR). But as far as clarity goes; you may not be able to actually make out a persons face at 100 yards, but you will definitely see the person trying to sneak up on you (and the field of view is "unbelievable"...).

"Excellent" (with a disclaimer)
16 of 22 found this helpful "This CPU is fantastic", just keep in mind that it's a 220W CPU, which means you'll need to have a motherboard that's capable of running a 220W CPU (most aren't), and because it's 220W it runs very hot, so you'll also need a liquid CPU cooler, air coolers just don't do it (trust me I've tried)... You'll also need at least a 900W Power supply, but with those three things this thing "ROCKS!!!"
