This is absolutely not a direct fit for ...

This is absolutely not a direct fit for an s10 with a 4.3. First off the plate that holds it to the throttle body is clocked about 90 degrees out. You have to separate the plate and the plastic piece, set them properly, and then epoxy them back together. Next is the heat shield; I don't know what it is actually for, but the S10 is not it. I was able to get the intake installed but then noticed the hole for the intake air temp sensor did not have a grommet. so the sensor would just fall in.
