Low cost replacement lens works well

I bought this lens having had 'lens error' on my S100 camera. I fitted it fairly easily with the help of the youtube video. I would advise keeping a written record during dismantling of where screws come from and in what order; this helps re-assembly. It all fitted in OK, although the smallest connector did not align well, resulting in poor contact & 'lens error', so align this well before closing the connnector flap. Comparing photos with the new lens with the original at various ISO settings, the results seem similar. Focus seems ok. I do think the replacement lens is noisier in operation, but it is hard to be sure.
