A must see movie for any freedom loving American!!
1 of 1 found this helpful This movie does an excellent job of showing how our country was founded and what those early settlers had to endure just to have obtain freedom. Kirk Cameron conducts a thorough investigation and I was stunned to learn that what we were taught in school was not an accurate account of what took place.
I bought this movie because it was not going to be shown in our theater. I had heard it was a good movie and I really wanted to see it.
I am generally not a huge fan of documentaries but this one was really good. It moved along fairly quickly and kept you interested. The people Kirk interviewed seemed very knowledgeable and it appeared they could easily back up their claims with documents and books or monuments and plaques. The filming and visuals were also very good.
This is definitely a quality production and I think every American should see this movie!

One of Tom Hanks best roles.
my 11 year old grandson wanted to see this movie. He loved it! When an 11 year old likes one of our classics, it kind of says it all.

This Garmin Street Pilot is awesome!
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this recently after my uncle showed me Garmin StreetPilot and all I can say is WOW! I am one of those people who can get lost anytime I am in unfamiliar settings. I have no sense of direction so getting lost can be terrifying for me. I am a woman in my 50s and I travel quite a bit by myself so I love the fact that this device makes traveling almost worry-free for me.
What I love most about the Garmin Street Pilot is that it is easy to use and easy to learn how to use. I was up and running in only minutes after taking it out of the box ... a kid could do this! I Love the voice directions so I don't have to be studying a map while driving. The touch screen is very nice and the display is large enough so I have no difficulty viewing it. The display illumination can be set to auto detect when you are driving at night so it lowers the brightness of the screen.
I like how you can zoom in or out to get as much or as little detail as you want. Ever been on a road where you don't see a street sign telling you what road you are on? Yeah ... me too and I hate that! This Garmin StreetPilot even allows you to read the street names you are on plus you can read the street names as you come up on them. So the device not only knows where you are but it allows you to know where you are at as well. Another fun feature is the way you can do a search for food places, lodging, and many other destinations.
This Garmin Street pilot also has blue tooth technology and my blue tooth cell phone was able to detect the device so now I can do hands free talking on my cell phone right through the Street Pilot. Nice for long trips but can be a pain if you forget to drop the connection when you leave your vehicle.
The MP3 player was a nice addition but to be honest I don't use it much. The speaker quality for playing music or audio books is not as good as it could be. Since I don't really plan to use it for an MP3 player, this was not a huge issue. I like the fact that the Garmin Street Pilot logs your speed, average speed, distance and time (both travel and stop time) for my trips. This device also allows you to set "favorites" so that once entered it becomes a selection in your "Where to go" menu.
Overall, this is an amazing device but if I were to buy another one, I would probably drop down to one that does not have the MP3 player or blue tooth technology. I would go for "The StreetPilot C330" which has all of the great features that the "C550" has with the exception of the MP3 player and blue tooth and retails for about $100 less.
Be careful not to loan this to your adult kids...they don't want to give it back when they get return home....LOL!
