iPad 3rd Generation is still a workhorse product
The 3rd Generation iPad was the first iPad to introduce a Retina Display, and the A5X chip which was a huge update to the iPad 2, which continues to be one of the bet selling iPad models, compared to newer generation iPads. The iPad 3 was a good performer, and the new display was clean and crisp with the enhanced resolution.
The iPad 3 uses the 30-pin connector, and was on the market a relatively short time, as the 4th Generation model came out a few months later, which really only changed out to the Lightning connector following the launch of the iPhone 5.

Nice update
2 of 3 found this helpful I had a 3rd gen Apple TV but I had given it to my daughter when she went to school. I found that I missed having it so I got a 4 the gen model and I love the improvements. The Siri remote is a bit bigger than the gen 3 but is still very slim and compact. The setup was easy using my phone which transferred all of my iTunes settings and network settings automatically. Interface is easy to navigate.

Perfect fit
Fit like a glove on my iPhone Xs. Price was so much better than retail and was in factory packaging
