RUST NEVER SLEEPS/THIS CORROSION
This wiper arm is performing very well but this became a bigger project than anticipated although not because of the new arm. I am sharing this in case others have the same issue. When I tried to remove the old arm it would not come off by hand. I then tried to use some basic tools but was cautious because of the chance of breaking the glass and still had no success. Next step was to use a cheap wheel/gear puller. A lot of the plastic came off but still left the metal core(?) attached to the spindle or axle from the motor. So I asked a tool obsessed friend if he had a better puller and a nut splitter that I could borrow. His puller did worse than mine because of the design. So finally it came down to the nut splitter. This was my last hope. Sure enough after just a few turns the core started to split and I was satisfied that I had thought of using it. The new arm went on with no problem and I did a small victory dance in my driveway.
