brought Studio 1535 up to snuff
I used it to replace the keyboard on a Studio 1535 laptop. The older keyboard had some finger nail polish on the space key, which looked tacky to me. At present I have a T61, that is flawless and I wanted the Studio 1535 to be flawless too. I replaced the keyboard, the upper case and upgraded from a 1.86 dual core to a C2D T7500 (2.20 Ghz)Good replacement part

Depends on how much you value speed vs a start orb and boot to desktop
Like many, I have been running one build or another of the Windows Pro 8 OS for quite some time. I have dual booted it with Windows 7 on two quad cores (one Q6600, with 7200 HDD and one i5 2300 with a Raptor 10,000 RPM HDD, I have installed it on two Core 2 Duo laptops with just plain old 7200 HDD's. I must say that Windows 8 booted and shut down faster, but required a kind of relearning process, no start orb and a funky start interface. I imagine the OS would be much more comfortable with a touch screen equipped machine? I'll probably run it on one Quad Core after I see what the 'blue' or v8.1 is all about.

Fujitsu MHV2040AT 40 GB ATA-100 Hard Drive
I got this drive a few weeks ago and I've been using it constantly without any problems. I even loaded the Win 7 RC1 OS on a D610 and reinstalled it a nc6000 (I'm awaiting an optical drive). The HP nc6000 and the Fujitsu MHV2040AT 40 GB ATA-100 Hard Drive is what I'm posting this on. The drive was reasonably priced and it came came quickly. It was well packaged and, as you can see, it works flawlessly. I couldn't be happier. Thanks
