Great macro lens!
1 of 1 found this helpful I have had the Nikon 60 2.8G Macro and I like this one better. While you give up instant autofocus over-ride, you gain two significant things: You have an f-stop dial so you can use it with manual (Nikon) bellows or tubes. And, you have a recessed lens, so you don't need a filter for protection, or extra distortion. It is light, and easy to carry and I can hardly believe the shots I am getting. I have a macro flash (the circular RAY flash attachment to the SB 900), which is necessary for really good exposure and depth of field at f22 with the bellows. Even without the flash and bellows, just shooting outside, I Love the pics. (I don't miss the nano coating--at least not yet.) Plus, this lens was half the price! Great eBay purchase.
