Mr. Dobro's Best
2 of 2 found this helpful Any Bluegrass fan can identify the best Dobro player but not knowing his solo work made me curious. I heard a cut from this album on XM Radio's Bluegrass Junction and wrote down the title. This album is outstanding because it mixes the kinds of music around Jerry's instrument and includes other artists as well. General 'Country' & 'Folk' enthusiests will also enjoy many of the cuts.
When the music industry eventually realizes just how powerful an influence XM and Serious radio is ,they just might start a satelite service of their own..

Nanci has a winner
This album covers her talents on all fronts, folk, activist, texas twang, and instrumental.. Last two cuts on gambling could have been reduced to one. They'll love her in merry old England.

Great set but use re-chargeables
1 of 1 found this helpful Radio well built and performs outstanding in both bands. Only issue is you can not turn off the back lit LCD display and that drains the batteries fast.. Use re-chargeables only unless you can afford boxes of the typical alkaline types. This was our second time with this model as my wife listens at night every night till she falls asleep. Ease of programming is another plus. We are seniors who grew up in the world of radios.
