Darn Tough Vermont Men's Merino Wool Boot Cushion Hiking Socks Large Oatmeal L

Great, Solid Socks: Not Miracle Socks
I am a person that is perpetually wearing out my socks; thick or thin, small or large, they seldom seem to last more than a year or so of wear. So, after reading tons of reviews raving about just how wonderful, comfortable, and durable these socks are, I found a good deal and decided to give them a try. Initially, I was very much impressed at how they looked and felt, before I put them on. Oh, and that's a good point, these socks do look very good, almost like dress socks. The patterning and color selection is unique and tasteful (and I got the almost bland-looking 'Oatmeal' variation); though, I might wish the bright Darn Tough brand was a little smaller, or on the side or bottom of the sock, instead of the top. Sorry, but I don't really need to have everyone reading the brand of my socks. They look nice enough without florescent orange letters on the top. Now, as to durability and how they actually feel wearing them. I have to admit I've only had these for a couple weeks, but so far, they haven't quite lived up to my "miracle sock" expectation that I got from reading reviews. Yes, they're still great socks, probably the best I've ever had, but they're still socks, and not perfect. So, the good: -They actually are very comfortable: soft, stretchy, not overly bunchy or thick -I really like how the body of the sock fits, especially the toe, the upper seems maybe more like a normal sock -Having used them in winter so far, they seem warm enough for normal-person use, though maybe not for polar explorers; I hope the merino wool will help in summer too The not-so-good: -I personally think they feel a little thin for being wool socks supposed to keep your feet warm. Especially on the top, the material is very thin and doesn't keep my feet super warm. But that's in winter in the midwest. -I guess I was expecting too much to start with. I was hoping they would be so much better as to not be anything like normal socks. BUT, these have developed those annoying little pills, fuzz-balls, and hair-mats that I dislike so much on socks. Especially on the heel where it rubs in my boots, and I hope that doesn't wear it thin and develop a hole over time. But really, those are minor details and nitpicks on my part, and these things have been great so far. If they last for several years without getting holes or losing much thickness, I'll be just like everyone else, writing 5-star reviews and claiming these socks work miracles. Until then, I'll have to be content with admitting that these are solid socks, still totally worth the money.

Solid storage so far
Working great so far. Everything checks for authenticity (from this specific buyer); up to speed, nearly full capacity, no weird errors/random unmounting, all exterior marks appear genuine. Reliable so far. I'm really starting to like Kingston, and my experience with their storage has been reliable, decently fast, no-frills, and fairly priced.
Anker Bolder LC90 2-Cell LED Flashlight Water-Resistant Zoomable 18650 Battery

A Solid Flashlight For Just About Any Situation
Overall a very solid flashlight, both in build and operation; by far the brightest light I've ever owned. The body is made out of solid metal, and feels great to hold. Enough weight to feel like a serious tool, but not overly heavy. It even stands on both ends on a flat surface, so you can light up a room by facing the bulb straight up and the light reflecting off the ceiling. The only complaint about the build, is the zoom feature. The bulb end of the flashlight pulls out (with some effort) very smoothly, and not easy enough to adjust accidentally. BUT, that range of motion allows for just enough room that it's not a snug fit, and the end wiggles a little. This is especially apparent when you tap the flashlight on something; it makes a slight ticking or rattling sound. I doubt this is really a serious flaw, but it would sure be nice if Anker would make this a little tighter fit so it wouldn't rattle, like their non-zoomable lights. That leads me to the only other complaint: when zooming, the beam does not stay evenly bright, centered, or rounded. On the wide end, it is much wider, but the center is actually dim, with the edges being brightest. On the spot end, you get a very bright, though small round spot, but with rings or "halos" around it. That bugs me just a little. In between, the beam varies quite a bit and has remnants of square corners. Still, in actual use, I rarely notice these slight inequalities at all. Everything else about this light is perfectly satisfactory: the grip is great, the different modes are very useful, battery life is tremendous, and best of all, it is VERY bright at highest power. Yes, this is definitely a great flashlight for the price, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again. Anker makes great stuff, and I doubt you'll ever be disappointed.
