Very inexpensive and fast.
I bought this processor to replace an E5300 in my HP. I bought it new for the same price I bought a used Athlon 64 x2. This runs much smoother than the Athlon (Athlon runs hotter because of smaller heatsink fan atm) I bought, and I didn't even replace the heatsink fan! If you are building a budget computer and need something that can somewhat compare to the I5 processors, get this with a large amount of RAM. It won't let you down.

Great processor, AMD reliability.
I bought this to replace my 4000+ processor. Since they don't make these anymore, surplus Athlon 64's are just way too expensive. So, I bought a used one. Despite it being used, it still performs excellent. Unfortunately, like all AMD's, it runs hot so it doesn't perform as well as the equivalent Intel at the moment. I recommend getting the proper heatsink fan or a nice aftermarket one to keep it cool.
