Kodak, but nothing special.
The quality is...well it's Kodak?
Burns @ x8 with LG burner x12.
The printable surface is smooth** full hub white.
Disc bottom is dark bronze.
Not much details on package for the surface other than printable.
I thought Kodak would be more geeky on this.
The surface is an average level, nothing special like Sony super glossy or something, just average smooth, hoped for something better.
My thought: save the money buying expensive brands, those are well made discs, you will always get some bad discs even with higher brands it's just luck.
It's only matter of preference, if this disc spec is what you looking for, go for it.
Most printable surfaces are either:
**Smooth: better color blending, high contrast, can be glossy with reflections. ( depends on printer ink)
***Rough: Sharper images, detailed and very deep colors, matt surface.

Fast, stable, and quite...kinda.
Having 3 WD Red for 3 years, mainly using them for gaming storage and one as data center, no problems so far.
The last one I got made weird groaning noise after first start "low and soft groaning" and when in use, maybe it's the actuator changing sectors?, the last one had 6TB unlike the first 2 (4TB). First time I hear this kind of noise from a hard disk, maybe because it has more platters, and you never know what new technology they embed with.
Will see how it does/last.
(1 ~ 4TB older models)
(5 ~ +6TB newer models)
HD Tune speed test
Older models= 145~160 MB/sec
Newer models= 214~230 MB/sec "impressive speed for HDD"
However the newer model shows +5c temperature vs older.
Idle: (26c older) (30c newer)
Load: (32c older) (38 newer)
WD Red Spec says normal working temp is 20~65c so nothing to worry about.
My advice to you:
if you want to keep your data and have longer life HD don't get the cheap ones.
I bought cheap Samsung, Seagate, Hitache, and WD since I built my system in 2007, bought expensive Samsung HDD for my main "Windows" and data. (at that time 160$ 1TB Samsung vs the rest above 80$ 1 TB) all the cheap ones died within 3 months to a year, except the main Samsung, still working to this day :) "knock on the wood"
So yeah, more expensive = better design + better features and safety.
I used those WD Red to replace all my cheap ones, now 3 years troubles free!
But keep in mind, everything has it's life span.
