instant on and off
Purchased this slip on pad for my Rossi 92 with a steel buttplate. There is some recoil when shooting heavy 44 Magnum loads in it and the slip on took the bite out of them plus added a little extra length on the short stock to give a better feel and fit. . Would have looked a little better in red to match the stock wood more closely, but an instant on and off pad without having the cost of having a recoil pad installed or modifying the stock.

squeaky clean
Bought this unit to clean grungy range brass. while it doesn't perform exactly as i had hoped, it does get the brass squeaky clean with a little added Dawn dishwashing detergent as recommended by the manufacturer and HOT water!(1 tsp.= 5 ml by the way) with a 30 minute run.( I also bring the water to boiling on the stove top before adding it to the tub.) This supplements the small heating element built in. Then i dry it on bath towels and process it through my tumbler. Have cleaned several thousand rounds this way.
A finer mesh on the basket would be a desireable feature to keep the brass from falling through. The ultrasonic action won't remove mud from the inside of the cases, so a proper sized bore brush is used on the really grungy ones!

Great old saw! No longer in production!
A great old saw and not one you will find for sale every day! It has all metal covers and case, no chain brake, and no primer button! It is a little underpowered with a 20" bar speed wise, but has good torque!It gets the job done, but you have to go slow!
