AC 240V To DC 48V 1/2/3/4/5A Transformer Power Supply Adapter For LED Strip CCTV

Buyer Beware - Not rated as specified.

The unit I bought specifies 48v 4A. I had it tested using an electronic load and unfortunately it fell well below its specification. I could only draw up to 1A. Above 1A the over current protection kicked in causing the output voltage to drop to 0v. The power supply only weighed ~160g. I felt this was way too light for this spec. (48v 4A), so I decided to open it to see what was inside and discovered it contained a small POE network adapter. Hence, why it could only deliver 1A max.. Do I recommend? For light duty applications it will work fine. If your application requires more then I do not recommend this product.

Works like a charm!

Great product.. Pros: Poe power supply built in. (No external power adapter) 8+2 extra ports means I can connect all 8 cameras + NVR + LAN. An 8+1 port version means you will have to sacrifice one camera if you wish to also connect to the LAN, unless you connect a second switch. All metal construction. Cons: No rubber feet. NVR + UPLINK limited to 10/100Mbps. Not an issue at this stage, however it would be nice if these two ports supported 1Gbps to carry the bandwidth of some higher resolution cameras and NVR's. (Just thinking for the future). Overall 9/10..
