Mind Blowing Surround Sound.

Instead of trying to explain to your friends why you spent all that money on your surround sound system, sit them down in the sweet spot and pop in this disc. Come back in about an hour and a half and help them to the door. They'll never doubt you again. Of course, this exercise only works if you understand why a DVD-Audio is different than a "normal" DVD (and have a system that can play it). For as long as I can remember, I have heard George Martin referred to as the "fifth Beatle". My smart ass response was to ask "which instrument did he play?" I now know the answer to that question. The "instrument" that he played was the studio itself. In remixing this for the Las Vegas show, George Martin (and his son) have shown the musical genius that lies behind the scenes. When I listen to this in it's full 5.1 multi-channel glory, I can believe this is the caliber of album that the Beatles would be making today. Note: The system I used to evaluate this disc.
