very nice GPS
I purchased this item used. I am using it with my Treo 680 and TomTom software (ver. 6) since Google maps do not support Bluetooth GPS. I used before Delorme Blue Logger and this is definitelly step up. Even though it does not support logging (saving the position in pre-determined intervals for later retrieval), it last much, much longer. I used it recently on a trip from Sacramento to Montana, and it seems to last easily 12-14 hours. It lasted a whole day of travel and about half the next day. The nice thing about the power useage is that once it loses Bluetooth connection it powers itself off in about 5-10 minutes. So if you forget to turn it off after you stop at the campground, it does not drain itself overnight. But while in Bluetooth connection, it does not turn itself off. The only problem I had with the unit is that in longe trips (over ten hours) the GPS portion seems to go haywire. I would start getting nonsensical location, bearing and speed. Turning off and on the unit would resolve the issue. It happened to me twice now and always after at least 6-10 hours on the road. Since I purchased the unit used, I am not sure if it is general problem, or problem of my particular item. The battery life is definite plus and I like the small size and sturdiness of the unit.

If you ever used Symbian, jusmp right in. If not, learn and enjoy. :-)
I purchased this phone in anticipation of Symbian Anna update and just updated yesterday. It replaced T-Mobile HD2, which will remain my second best choice only because of the not so good camera. The Nokia N8 is awesome camera phone. Having two kids, this was by far the main motivation and it delivers. The videos and pictures coming out of this camera are just stunning. My biggest adjustment is screen size. The HD2 is 4.3" display and Nokia is only 3.5". It makes a lot of difference in web browsing, especially since the resolution on the Nokia is smaller than HD2, thus displaying less and requiring more scrolling. With HD2 it was almost laptop experience. But I love the Gorilla glass and aluminium body. I believe that ALL phone manufacturers should built their phones in anticipation that someone is going to drop one. My HD2 was tough but nowhere close to Nokia tough. I used to own E61, E62, E71 and they were all built solid. Software after Anna is very solid. I actually enjoy the mix of extra available settings and less UI (user interface) flexibility. It just make me use the phone for what is intended. I can find all application on Ovi Store I really need and the only one I chose to pay for was a Call Tracker, which synchronizes calls to Calendar and then synchronizes with Outlook (very cool app). Other than that I do not need anything else. Hey, it has Angry Birds... LOL I am using 32B card, so with the internal memory I am having 48GB or memory (more than I ever need). As an added extra, I use often FM emitter. In my car at home, you just sellect radio frequency and your radio plays whatever you play on your phone. It is great for my car as I have older radio and did not want to upgrade to Bluetooth or other radio. It also has USB on the go (I have not used it yet), which would be awesome if I ever chose to write something really long on my phone (probably not). Last, but not least the phone quality is great. This was my complaint about HD2 plus freezing and I have no problems with Nokia N8. Very happy.
