Wolf Roadlink
I had a 2x10 Tiagra drive train on my Cannondale CAADX (46/34 and 12x32). It worked fine but with all the hills around my house I wanted a 1x setup. I went to a 40 tooth chainring and an 11x40 cassette thanks to Roadlink. Put the 40t on the outer slot, installed the 11x40(10 spd), and the Roadlink. Shifting performance is unchanged and I now have a contiguous set of 10 gears. Very happy with Roadlink. BTW, my total cost for conversion was about $90.

Ping I5 versus Titleist 775
So there's no confusion, the I5 irons I talk about here are my exact fit as determined at the Ping facility in Phoenix. I started this process out by buying an I5 gap wedge. Loved it. It seemed that shot after shot would head straight for the pin. I was convinced that these were the perfect irons so I waited (and waited) until my lie/length/stiffness (white,+1/2,zz65 stiff) were available and finally bought a set on eBay. Some background: Handicap - 6, clubs formerly in play - Titleist 775 . What I discovered is that while these are a fine set of irons, they are not what I expected. Although the 775s and I5s have similar offsets I've found that the I5s are much more likely to draw heavily. On the course it seems like I consistently hit greens with both, but was consistently closer to the pin with the 775s. Another observation is that while the so called "feel" difference between forged and cast is problematic, the 775s feel better on perfect shots than the I5s. I'm continuing to experiment with the I5s since they are so consistent. I'm wondering if a different shaft might make a difference. However, I think it's telling that for the tournament I'm playing in this weekend, the 775s are in the bag.
