Died after just 3 uses
2 of 2 found this helpful The mower started fine for the first use and apart from some annoying issues I will explain a little later I felt the cheap price justified the product. Toward the end of the second use the mower periodically ran rough and on one occasion I thought it was going to stall. On the Third use the mower was reluctant to start and ran rough on and off and wanted to stall until finally it stopped and refused to start again. I took it to my local mower repair shop and was told they refuse to even look at a Baumr as he has learned through many other customers that it is not worth his frustration to fix a substandard machine that continues to experience problems.
The plastic lock nuts that allow the handle to fold on top of the machine were problematic from the beginning and wouldn't lock tight enough to hold the handle into place and not fold mid use. The swing away blades didn't cut my couch lawn evenly as it seemed to push some tufts over leaving lawn looking like it has a bad hair cut. Also, the metal chassis seems to be moulded so when assembled it sits uneven and then cuts high on one side, low on the other and I had to be mindful of how I ran my lines to minimize the visual effect. All in all I wouldn't recommend this mower even if it didn't die an early death.

Being Ladies size 9(AU) I found this item didn't fit well under foot. Smaller feet would fit item better
