Cryotag Skin Tag Remover Cryotherapy TagBand Aerosol Treatment up to 12 treatmen
25 June 2021
BETTER THAN EXPECTED
I have used similar freezing products before on verrucae and they've just not worked for me. So I was a bit skeptical whether this would be any good but short of cutting the skin tags off, I could not see any other way of removing them. All the online medical advice was that the best way is to freeze - and that's what a doctor would do. On balance, the other reviews of this Cryotag product seemed to be favourable so I decided to risk a few quid and give it a go. I used it on two skin tags a few inches apart, following the instructions to the letter (I think that's important to do with something like this)..... except that I probably blasted much more skin area than recommended, with the freezer - much of the whole tag and some surrounding area. Only a little stinging sensation which has not bothered me. Within a day or two, both tags and the blasted skin had turned browny-black, after another day, one of the tags had disappeared leaving behind what looks like a blister. Two more days after, the removed tag area is healing nicely whilst the remaining tag is starting to tear away (no pain unless I pull on it!) leaving a tiny wound underneath. I reckon this remaining tag will be gone within a day or two or maybe (as advised in the instructions), I give it another week and then another go with the Cryotag and it will deffo be gone. It also looks like it will heal nicely. So I have to wait for more tags to appear before using the kit again. It does have rather a lot of applicators........ enough for dozens of tags!
Multi Purpose Aluminium Extension Scaffold Ladder Platform Step Tray 4.75m

EXCELLENT PLATFORM AND LADDER - SUPER VALUE
You can spend a lot of money getting a 1.3m high working platform/scaffold.... OR you can buy this one which does the job pretty much as well as anything. It's quite lightweight and transportable by one person. The different combinations are very useful - especially the ladder, step ladder and platform and it is quick and easy to change from one combination to another. Seems quite well made and sturdy and I think it will cope with some heavy use. The only issue is the lack of a safety bar or handrail in the platform setting. It does feel a bit wobbly and a little unsteady that high off the ground. You need to be sure to site it carefully so it doesn't wobble much. Even so I have overbalanced a couple of times and have had to jump off it to avoid falling off. A handrail would solve that.....but would add significantly to the price I guess. I use a bungee cord to keep it all together when transporting and carrying. It would be good to have some kind of built in clip that would prevent it opening up when folded so it can be more easily carried.

Rio Electrolysis Safe Permanent Home Removal for Women & Mens Facial & Body Hair

Probably Technically Very Good But Not That Easy To Use
I have tried to use this machine twice so far - once as a test after it was delivered and then one serious use of it. It was bought as a replacement after my old one (different make) malfunctioned after years of service. The positives:- 1. The concept behind the apparatus is sound. I have used similar electrolysis/hair zappping equipment before and it really does eventually permanently stop hair from regrowing as long as you keep treating the hairs. Thing is, as a person of advancing years, one gets more hair in more unwanted places as one ages. So there are always new hairs to have a go at; this machine seemed the best I saw on the market. 2. Battery power - brilliant idea as you don't necessarily have a power point to hand and you can avoid the bother of the cable. 3. Length of Treatment timer control - another brilliant idea - thicker hairs need more zapping to get them to come out easily but you don't want to be waiting so long with finer hairs. Tried to use this and it will take some trial and error before I learn just what setting to apply to each hair. But that's fine as it will be a useful thing to do. 4. Neat and compact piece of kit. 5. And it works - when you actually get hold of a hair and the current flows and the timer works - just great. But getting all these things to happen is the problem. Negatives:- 1. Bleeding fiddly to use. This is the main reason I cannot give more than 3 stars and cannot recommend it. The tweezers just seem designed by a madman and make it so difficult to actually grab a hair. Looking in a mirror and trying to figure out how to place the thing to get the hair takes multiple tries in many cases. You get tired holding your arm up to your head for so long and very frustrated by failing to achieve your aim. My old equipment was so much easier to use with a sideways on pair tweezers rather than end on in this case........ although it was less effective once it did have hold. 2. And then it was a toss up as to whether it actually worked. It seemed very temperamental:- you think you have hold of a hair and you wait for the flashing light to show the current is flowing and the timer has started.......... but nothing. So you have to start all over again - letting go and trying to grab it again (see 1 above). At other times, you hadn't grabbed the hair but the light flashed to show the current had started. Barmy. Overall I reckon it took me nearly twice as long as it ought to do the job. 3. No mirror. My old one had a flip up mirror so you could sit down at your desk - plonk the kit on it and just get on with it. You can't stand at the bathroom mirror doing this for ages; plus the cable isn't log enough for you to do that unless you put the main unit in the sink and sort of stoop down over it. I got my old kit out with its flip mirror - or would have had to buy a vanity mirror. 4. No mains cable - "fitted for but not with". Not very green. Ought to be included and with a rechargeable battery.
