  No the colour is not chalk, it’s more like clotted cream. Between the leather outer layer and the fabric lining there is a distorted base that feels like it is disintegrating and stuck to the side of the bag. I was dismissed and told to ‘re-list it!’ By the seller! No I wouldn’t do that!!!!!?
