A poor quality device that could easly be better.
picture shows two batteries only one came with item. item drained the first battery in two uses.

The Spot 2 was a good move for my adventurous Life.
1 of 1 found this helpful price was fair, but the value to my loved ones is great I am a full-time sailor on my own sailboat, my Spot 2 tracks my every move as well as my mistakes, it gives me great confidence knowing that if a mishap takes my boat and puts me in danger's way I know that at a push of the red S.O.S. button help will be able to find me, I also have a SAT phone from the same company GlobalStar, but peace of mind cost something it will eat the lesser batteries in two days but the Lithium batteries last about 7 days while tracking.
