Once you get the Cosmoline off you have a brand new Old Stock Bayonet. Great price for a brand new USGI one.

Almost had to cut it off to get it off.
Looked great came with 2 heads for different sized bayonet attachments. COOL..... Then slid it on tried it out worked really good. Then after shooting 10 rounds tried to take it off the release button would not budge??? Tried as hard as i could and finally the button went in but nothing happened??? Still would not budge. Then I had to disassemble the entire thing and found the rod that connects the 2 latch pins was bent and was barely able to remove it so I could remove the latch pins. Thought I was going to have to cut it off my brand new rifle. Might make this one work with an old bayonet release that I have from an old bayonet. I don't know why they don`t use that system in the first place????
